Logo Design Brief

I need a logo designed for a boutique financial services company. They have an existing logo but we need something better. Initially the logo is needed for signage, business cards, letterhead etc however this new logo will be used as the basis for all future graphic design work - ie. building the website.
Have attached a proper brief here (note that there are some considerations in terms of a 3rd party organisation and potential co-branding)
