Logo Design Brief

This site is a hobby-focused social networking website that helps people with similar interests to make friends and improve their skills. It is called MyRoom, and it has different 'rooms' for different hobbies. We are launching with a front page for MyRoom, as well as 2 specialty rooms: LanguageRoom (where you practise a language or find a teacher to teach it to you), and TravelRoom (where you meet people who have travelled to a particular area or who are locals from that area, and get personal advice about what to do once there).

Because we'll be opening up 'rooms' for an endless selection of hobbies, we need to be able to generate the first word internally (eg Language- Travel- Yoga- etc) once the initial logo for MyRoom is made.

At the moment we are considering using 2 different fonts for the logo- see attached jpeg for a screen grab of our working design for the site's front page. However if you have a better idea with a stronger execution- well you are the graphic designer so just work your magic. If you create a unique font for one or both words however- be aware that we'll need the whole alphabet with upper and lower cases! In this eventuality, I am happy to pay a separate fee for you to create the full alphabet. This additional fee would have to be negotiated before accepting your final design.

This brief also requires a favicon (ie a small icon) for all ongoing purposes.
The feel for the logo should be friendly but stylish. We'd prefer a less feminine logo than Pinterest, but something that kind of personal touch. If it has a designed graphic element, be aware that the graphic element has to work as well with a long word like LanguageRoom as well as a short word such as MyRoom.
