Logo Design Brief

The product is a Tablet PC that has a range of software applications that can be launched. The applications are used to gather data used to perform non-destructive testing like pressure testing for example.
The user inputted data + the data taken during the test from sensors connected to the tablet PC are compiled to make a complete report.
Our company name is WhiteWalkerGroup or (WWG) and we have a trading name DART (Data acquisition & Reporting Tool).
We are not necessarily fixed on the DART or WWG.
A slogan we have coined is "Field Testing With Absolute Trace-ability"


We are looking for something sharp, easy to say and remember.
We would use the logo in the application launch icons also. As we will have a number of different applications it may be nice to easily have variants of our logos to distinguish between the different apps. Like how Photo shop has a different color (but similar) logo for its different applications.

The colors we have originally considered are variants of blues/turquoises, Grey/silvers. Not limited by this either.

Target Market(s)

Generally Engineers, Technicians, almost 100% male oriented. People concerned with certification, trace ability compliance to standards.

Requirements

Nice to have

• As we will have a number of different applications it may be nice to easily have variants of our logos to distinguish between the different apps. Like how Photo shop has a different color (but similar) logo for its different applications.
  
  I have seen a logo on this site caller RiverMonster. Has a fish with big teeth. One of the outputs of our applications is an X/Y chart that can look like saw teeth.
