Logo Design Brief

Hello,

Starkey Products is looking for a new logo to more closely match our target market. We feel our current logo is outdated and not exciting enough.

We manufacture electrical components for the automotive aftermarket. We primarily manufacture aftermarket lighting products for US cars and trucks. We also manufacture custom electrical components for other businesses'.

Our typical customer drives a sporty American made car (Mustang, Corvette, Camaro) and modifies it to make it unique (wheels, upgraded lighting, supercharger)

We would like our logo to communicate product quality and rugged durability yet simplicity.

Requirements

Must have

• Keep it simple!
  
  Must have the 'Starkey' name prominently displayed - 'Products' is required but may be in smaller text. We prefer customers to say 'I have a Starkey wiring harness' and not 'I have a Starkey Products wiring harness'.
  
  Black, gray, silver, white, and red are preferred colors.

Nice to have

• It may be cool to see the 'S' in Starkey contrasting. Maybe a bold, edgy, rugged 'S' in Red.

Should not have

• No yellow, orange, green, purple colors. No cursive writing. No animals, plants, or similar objects.
  
  Starkey is a name and is not associated with stars or keys. Please do not include any star or key shapes, designs, pictures, etc.
