Illustration Design Brief

. We are Champster Media, a small start-up media company that is creating creative content, such as animated shows, graphic novels, as well as comics and stories, to be distributed via the internet.

We are in production of many ideas, this posting is for the creation of a funny single pane comic strip.

Title: The Mandus
Genre: Comedy
Description:
The Mandus is a funny comic strip showing Mandus (Korean word for dumplings, which are big and round) in funny situations, with short sentence/few word funny taglines.

The illustration we need is for the first comic, #1.

The tagline at the bottom is "Five Mandus sitting by the pool..."
The illustration is of five plump, female, mandus sitting on the rim of a bowl of Korean dumpling soup, called Mandu Ji-gae. Their legs are wading in the water and they are relaxing and enjoying themselves. I would like the bowl to llok like a traditional Korean soup bowl, a thick black bowl with a black base. In most pictures it is presented this way. I would like the title "The Mandus" in the top left, followed by the comic number (#1), and © Champster Media in the bottom right.
