Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new company called 'The Spectre Group'. The company will initially be a venture capitalist investing in new projects. You may know that Spectre is an organization that was frequently referred to in the Movie series James Bond. Though we are in complete different lines of business our majority shareholder came up with a logo concept (please see attached file)
