I Don't Know What to say. I am seriously suspecting designcrowd itself for these scam contests. Has any REAL designer ever won a contest here?

I didnt won. I worked for about 25 projects. But i did see, how the most crapy projects won on design crowd contests :)

the bigest turn off was, sydney morning herald poster challenge, winner of that price, was compiting for very first time, he won first price and look : he was from australia li8ke design crowd :D

@Pixxxel.Labs & everyone else.

Most projects are real, almost all of them but these ones. I keep contacting design crowd regarding these 'fake' or as I like to call them 'fixed' project, the winner is the project owner, they pick themselves, but DC keeps claiming they are legit. It's only a month after everyone else notices that DC does, and only then they close these account...but they are soon back under a different name, so you have to be aware of this. It's a good thing I didn't enter this project.

Similar thing happens on freelancer.com, and the authorities will do nothing about these. Well, as long as they get their commissions, what is it to them? " Let the designers go to hell, who cares?" kind of sentiment.
Only 99designs is different and much more trustworthy. But the problem is that there are lots of designers competing for even $200 contests :(
But I am saying ta ta to designcrowd and spreading the word ;)

@ Logo Kid
It's good to see at least someone taking action (like you contacting the designcrowd authorities). Hopefully, in the near future these scams will be minimized when everyone raises a voice! Cheers!

@ Pixxxel.Labs

Some other people do report it as well, others also find out if anyone has copied an existing design in real projects. I would say maybe 2% of logo projects are scams here on DC, so that's not really a lot, especially if you can tell the fake ones from the real ones, which is quite difficult spot sometimes.

Anyway good luck, whether you stay or go.
