Logo Design Brief

We are in need of a logo design for our NYC7s rugby team. NYC7s is a national and international touring/playing team that is an extension of the Northeast Rugby Olympic Development Academy (ODA). The purpose of ODA is to identify, develop and prepare Sevens rugby players with the intention of placing ambitious athletes on the USA Men’s National team and the 2016 USA Olympic team. We would like our new logo design to be blue and orange, the new logo should symbolize rugby. There should be an iconic NYC landmark/statue incorporated into the design. One of our partners came up with an idea that included the old WTC towers w/ a rugby ball going through it to symbolize a ruby ball going through a goal post.
