Logo Design Brief
I am opening a law firm and would like a new logo. My current logo may be seen at maurerlawpa.fosterwebmarketing.com (website is not up yet, but here you can see what the site will look like...BTW, no need to type www first, just paste the link as it is). I am not happy with my current logo. it is too basic and simplistic.
Here are my desires for a new logo:
-use same general concept: Maurer Law and somewhere underneath "Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney" (as in current logo)
-make the "board cert......" part less smaller, less prominent and more understated (it seems too braggy now)
-use contrasting colors maybe with "Maurer" and "Law" different colors
-keep it fairly simple and classy. current logo is a little TOO simple and TOO basic.
-whatever the logo ends up being, make sure it will look good when added to my home page (the header/colors cannot be changed), currently, it all blends in now, but I want it to stand out a little more over the existing background color.
-also, i uploaded the current logo for those of you who cannot open my draft website.

When submitting a logo, please submit two versions: one that would work with the blue background on the website and one that would work on everything else, like a white background for letterhead.

- -the part under my current logo that says "former insurance lawyer, now on your side." you can submit logos with and without those words. i';m not sure if i want them in the logo itself or not. will just have to see how it looks.

- no symbols like scales of justice or initials.....pretty much want just words
