Logo Design Brief
Hi there,
I need a logo and soon a wordpress website.
An I.T. Company that helps companies reduce their power consumption, using a scalable, Lego brick approach to designing and building datacentres. The company will lead with datacentres and supply a whole host of products and services. We will resell any customers redundant I.T equipment to help them pay for the new equipment needed, split the costs of selling older kit in the customers favour. Part of our profit is then donated to 2 charities, one will be water aid, the other to be decided, will work in the area of natural disaster relief.
This is a new company, after a 5yr break from the industry. I love the work I do, and I want to be able to give something back and help others less fortunate.
I've never been about the money, yes we need to make a profit to stay in business, But this new business start up is about helping and giving back. Our customers will mainly be the corporate sector, be it finance, retail, local authority etc, to the smaller based 1-20 person based business.
We will be supplying brands like cisco, HP, Dell etc, too.
The designs need to be done quick,
below are the manufactures website to give you an idea on what the datacentre products look like, just to give you an understanding and also a couple of competitors just in case that is of use.

Can't decide on "safe" corporate blue or more eye catching yellow black etc.
I don't have a strap line yet, just the company name being Datacentre International Ltd, if you can see a strap line to go with the logo from reading the information provided all helps but not essential.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Good morning / evening everyone!
I've had to extend the date a couple of days due to my partner traveling. I shall go through each one and provide honest feed back so everyone has an equal opportunity. Two request below, just to put these ideas to rest.
1) Now, just to satisfy my curiosity on how visually this would look using the company name. Personally I don't think it will work, I just need to see it. The BBC sport logo that covered the winter Olympics in yellow and black or black on yellow, depending how you look at it!. You'll see it on the presenters black jackets, this is easy to search and quick to type out, even though I can't do it!
2) My partner would like to see at least one design with a simple round world globe that shows dots for major cities like flight routes for planes. I have seen this many times in marketing collateral over the years to either show major links for the world wide webs hubs. Or routes etc
We want this logo to be simple not too busy, is that possible with the globe idea?
I will come back to this later this afternoon to up date and provide feed back.

Hi there everyone,
Thank you so far in providing some excellent designs and good by to the ones that have just copied other companies designs from datacentre websites! How dumb is that!
Now, we've had some legal issues with regards to using the word international. However, this should not greatly effect the designs. I do have to extend the time out for a week just to make sure we have everything in order.
I will be coming back to provide feed back next week.
