Logo Design Brief

In search of a logo that will visualize a few things for this new company, MiriSimplex.
1. In Latin, Miri = wonderful and Simplex = simple/pure. These are the foundation of my beliefs for what the company will offer in terms of services and products. This should be represented in the logo.

2. The company will (initially) be focusing on customized database development/solutions. Core products/services will be based on the software "FileMaker Pro". The future is not limited to this, so I do not want this to pigeon-hole the company nor its visual representation in the logo.

3. No color scheme has been chosen as of now, so please exercise your creative freedom! Earth tones have always been a favorite (dark/forest green), but not required. The logo should look classy in both the chosen color scheme and black/white.

• Rounded edges are better than sharp/hard corners! This applies to (most) lettering, frames, etc.
  
  If you do a web search for "database icon" you should see some images of three circles stacked to create a cylinder. Could be nice to see this incorporated somehow.
