Chiaro Scuro Goat cheese Label

Label Design Brief
Argiolas Formaggi is a Sardinian cheese dairy founded in 1954 in Dolianova, near Cagliari. Three generations, one place, one craft. We make sheep's and goat's milk cheeses and we are known in Italian delicatessen counters for a small range of distinctive, high-end wheels.
Chiaroscuro is our new goat cheese. Matte black rind, bright white paste, aged only 20 days, soft and mild. It is sold as a whole wheel of 20 cm diameter and about 2 kg, displayed at the deli counter and cut to order in front of the customer.
The name means chiaroscuro, the painting technique of strong light against deep shadow. It is split across the label: CHIARO on the light half, SCURO on the dark half. The label is a small round sticker applied to the top face of the black wheel.
What we are asking for: a redesign of that round label.. We are looking for a better execution of the one described here — above all a better geometric motif and a typographic system that still reads when the label is seen at 3 cm.
