Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a church I'm planting. It needs to fit well with all different types of apparel. I want the logo to be respectable, but still different from a traditional church. It must lean masculine and can't feel feminine or whimsy. I previously was looking for a sporty look, BUT realized that it doesn't fit the mountain town I'm trying to reach. I'd like to move the design to fit more of Knoxville's nickname 'Scruffy City'. I'm realizing I need to lean into Knoxville’s mountaineer, blue-collar, and outdoor culture. I'm looking for something more original with an old-school mountain feel. I would need it to be something a country boy would wear on a hat or shirt.

I've included a few attachments of something someone sent me that I really like. Here's the things I like.

1. I like the font of the letters; they feel professional, yet masculine and fitting for blue-collar country people.
2. I like the rising mountain line in the word that gives the "rising up" feeling, but also fits the mountains in the local area. The mountains there aren't super steep and rocky like the mountains in the West.
3. I like the two tones on the words and letters because it makes it easier to identify the mountain imagery, instead of the word just looking broken.
4. I like having one version that says "Risen Church" and one that either just gives the letters "RCK" for Risen Church Knoxville, or just the letter "R" that would fit well in an instagram profile circle and be more balanced.

But the logo doesn't have to resemble this at all. If you have another idea that is classic and masculine then send it and give it a try.
