I noticed the contest has just closed. While working through your document brief, I came up with an idea that could save your team a significant amount of time.

Rather than manually editing Word templates for every new job, I can build a simple document automation system.

Your team would only enter the required information, such as:

Client Name
Site Address
Certificate / Quote Number
Date
Works Completed

With one click, the system would:

Generate a professionally formatted Word (.docx) document
Keep the original template untouched
Automatically save the file using the client name and document number (e.g. Detector Inspector - Certificate 2324.docx)
Be ready to print immediately
Optionally generate a PDF as well

The same information could also populate your Proposal, Quote, Work Docket and Fire Certificate automatically, eliminating duplicate data entry.
