We are looking to redesign and elevate our Sponsorship Proposal for the second edition of The Proving Grounds Puerto Rico (PGPR) - a Tactical Fitness competition that combines functional fitness and live-fire shooting in a safe and controlled environment.
The first edition (March 7, 2026) was a proven success, and the updated proposal must reflect that evolution from concept to validated event.
OBJECTIVE
Create a visually striking, premium, and highly structured sponsorship proposal that communicates:
- Credibility (proven event)
- Growth (scaling momentum)
- Experience (not just competition, but a full event)
----------------------------
KEY DATA TO INCLUDE (VERY IMPORTANT)
The design must highlight the following real metrics prominently:
- 96 registered athletes
- 240+ spectators
- 35 volunteers
- 370+ total attendees
- 14 female athletes
- 5 youth participants (ages 12–16)
- $3,300 awarded in prize money
----------------------------
INAUGURAL SPONSORS:
- U.S. Air Force
- Puerto Rico Army National Guard
- U.S. Army Reserve
- Alpine Real Estate
- GFW (Guardarropa Fit Wear)
- Neonwood Studio
- Island Flex 787, OPEX San Juan
- Executive Services PR
- Body Balance
----------------------------
NEXT EVENT (IMPORTANT FOR DESIGN STORY)
- Event Date: December 19, 2026
- Expected Attendance:
- 130+ athletes
- 300+ spectators
- ~500 total attendees
- Theme: Christmas Experience
- Full event decorated in Christmas theme
- Food vendors + traditional Puerto Rican roasted pork (150+ lbs), community, and sponsor activations
👉 This is NOT just a competition - it is an experience-driven event.
----------------------------
STRUCTURE (BASED ON CURRENT PROPOSAL)
- Use the existing proposal as structural reference , but improve layout, hierarchy, and storytelling:
- Cover Page (modern + bold)
- Executive Summary (UPDATED with real results)
- Event Concept / Experience
- Audience & Attendance (with real + projected numbers)
- Sponsors (social proof section)
- Sponsorship Packages (Alpha = $10,000, Bravo = $1,000, Charlie = $500, Delta = $250)
- Why Sponsor PGPR
- Contact Page
----------------------------
EVENT DIVISIONS (UPDATED – VERY IMPORTANT)
The proposal must clearly showcase the five official competition divisions, with strong visual hierarchy (icons, images, or cards per division). This section should feel dynamic, premium, and easy to scan.
Divisions to include:
SCALE DIVISION (Adaptive)
An adaptive division for those who want to experience PGPR in a controlled environment.
No rankings. No prizes.
This is about completing the challenge.
BEGINNER DIVISION
For athletes ready to compete in a structured and approachable format.
Challenging, but accessible.
Athletes compete for placement.
INTERMEDIATE DIVISION
For athletes with a strong foundation in fitness and shooting.
Heavier loads. Higher standards.
Performance matters.
JÍBARO DIVISION (Elite)
The highest level of competition at PGPR.
Retention holsters required. Rifles carried in slings. Heavier loads.
Built for athletes who want to prove themselves.
MASTERS 45+ DIVISION
For athletes 45+ who want to compete while prioritizing longevity and control.
Maintains competitive intensity within an age-based category.
2-GUN FORMAT (IMPORTANT – INCLUDE BELOW DIVISIONS)
All divisions are available in either:
Pistol
2-Gun (Pistol + Rifle)
In the 2-Gun format, athletes utilize both pistol and rifle throughout the competition, transitioning between weapons under physical fatigue and time pressure.
----------------------------
DESIGN NOTE FOR THIS SECTION
Present divisions as individual visual blocks/cards (like the reference provided)
Use bold titles + short descriptions (keep text tight)
Include action images per division if possible
Highlight Jíbaro Division as the elite tier visually
Ensure this section is one of the most visually engaging pages in the proposal
DESIGN STYLE & VISUAL DIRECTION
We want a military / tactical / premium fitness aesthetic, similar to brands like:
- Rogue Fitness
- The Tactical Games
- CrossFit-style event decks
Tone:
- Strong
- Clean
- Masculine but modern
- Minimal clutter
COLOR PALETTE (MANDATORY)
Use the following brand colors:
- Light Olive Green (#636B2F)
- Dark Olive Green (#3D4127)
- Sand / Khaki (#C2B280)
- Charcoal / Black (#1C1C1C)
- Light Gray (#D3D3D3)
- White (#FFFFFF)
- Accent Red (#C80018) – for highlights only
DESIGN NOTES
- Use bold typography (military/tactical feel - I will include the font called BOOTCAMP which is the main font used for the first edition)
- Strong use of contrast (dark backgrounds + light text)
- Icons for stats (athletes, spectators, etc.)
- Clean infographics for numbers
- Full-page images for impact (action shots, athletes, shooting, fitness)
- Official logo included (PNG and vectorized)
- Keep it visually dynamic but easy to read
----------------------------
IMPORTANT MESSAGE SHIFT
The proposal must clearly communicate:
- This is NOT a new event
- This is a proven concept that is scaling
Before: “Support us”
Now: “Join a growing movement early”
----------------------------
FINAL DELIVERABLE
- Print-ready PDF (high quality)
- Editable source file (Illustrator)
