Logo Design Brief
The Vision:
LOMNO is a premium, future-facing lifestyle brand rooted in European minimalism, technical precision, and quiet luxury. We are filling a significant, untapped gap in the market for sophisticated, high-design fashion and accessories specifically for preteens and teenagers (Ages 10–16). This is a demographic currently caught between juvenile, graphic-heavy children's wear and ill-fitting adult-lite clothing. LOMNO is the "Missing Middle"—the bridge to a more mature, intentional identity for the next generation of founders, creators, and leaders.
The Aesthetic:
Our brand identity is defined by "Architectural Minimalism." We are moving away from the loud, colorful, and "busy" aesthetics typical of youth brands. Instead, we embrace a strict, sophisticated palette of Slate, Graphite, Bone, and Sandstone. The visual language should feel "engineered" rather than "drawn." We are looking for clean, structural lines, 45-degree architectural angles, and a sense of balanced weight. The brand should look equally at home on a high-end technical garment as it would in a modern, architecturally-designed home on acreage.
The Requirements:
We require two primary assets that work in perfect harmony:
A Bespoke Wordmark (LOMNO): A custom Sans-Serif typeface that is bold, authoritative, and perfectly balanced. It must look expensive and "upmarket."
A Signature Motif (The DNA): A standalone geometric icon. We are specifically interested in a minimalist evolution of a chevron or "Apex" shape that subtly integrates the letter 'L' through a strategic structural break or variation in stroke weight.
Application & Hardware Utility:
Because LOMNO will mass-produce premium fashion and accessories, the branding must be functional for "Technical Hardware." Designers should visualize this logo being:
Cast in matte-black metal for zipper pulls and rivets.
Debossed into heavy-weight leather patches.
Molded in 3D-raised silicone for tonal (black-on-black) apparel applications.
Tessellated into a sophisticated, repeating monogram pattern for fabric linings.
The Goal:
The final result should be a "Silent Hero" brand—one where the silhouette is so strong and the geometry so precise that it signals "Elite Status" without needing to be loud. We are building a market leader. We look forward to seeing your architectural interpretations of LOMNO.
Target Market(s)
Primary Buyer: The "Intentional Parent"—design-conscious mothers and fathers who value curated aesthetics and high-quality essentials for their families. End-User: The "Aspirational Teen" (Ages 10–16)—boys moving away from juvenile graphics toward a more mature, technical, and "founder-inspired" identity.

Requirements
Must have
- Custom Wordmark: A bespoke, balanced, and authoritative typeface that feels timeless and industrial. Standalone Motif: A unique, abstract geometric icon (DNA) that subtly incorporates a structural 'L' while maintaining an upward/forward 'Apex' motion. Architectural Precision: Sharp, clean lines with intentional angles (45-degree bevels) that look like they were 'engineered' rather than just drawn. Tonal Capability: The design must remain high-status and legible when applied tonal-on-tonal (e.g., black-on-black rubberized finishes).
Nice to have
- Hardware Mockups: We would love to see how the motif looks etched into a metal rivet, cast as a zipper pull, or debossed into a heavy leather patch. Tessellated Pattern: A demonstration of how the motif can be tiled into a sophisticated monogram pattern for fabric linings or embossed textures.
Should not have
- Juvenile or Playful Elements: No "friendly" rounded fonts or "cutesy" graphics. Literal Sports Clipart: Avoid soccer balls, whistles, or generic athletes. This is a lifestyle and fashion brand first. Overly Complex Detail: No thin, fragile lines that would bleed or fail during 3D silicone molding or hardware casting.
