Logo Design Brief

Schoolhouse Logistics provides customizable, modular software for schools to manage administrative functions. Our platform is built with direct input from teachers and school staff, designed to be intuitive, secure, and easy to use. We want a logo that reflects clarity, trust, and modern simplicity—without feeling loud, gimmicky, or corporate.

What We Want the Logo to Communicate
• Simplicity and clarity
• Reliability and security
• Teacher-built credibility - "grass-roots approach"
• Customizable / modular structure
• Calm, focused energy
• Modern but not trendy

Style Direction
• Clean, minimal, and readable
• Not busy, not noisy, not gimmicky
• Friendly but professional
• Avoid harsh, aggressive, or overly techy aesthetics
• Avoid clichés (no generic shields, locks, gears, or abstract swooshes unless done in a very original way)

Color Direction
• We feel confident that we want to use the color sage in our design, and any recommendation on complementary colors is welcome. We have thought about grey, ochre / gold, clay / terracotta, and/or blues or dark slate grey HEX: #2F4F4B

• Calm, optimistic, and modern
• Can include color, but in a controlled, thoughtful way
• Should feel supportive and approachable, not flashy or childish
• Must work well in both full color and monochrome

Typography
• Clear, legible, and modern
• Friendly but not playful
• Avoid ultra-futuristic or overly decorative fonts

Usage
The logo will be used across:

• School communications
• Possibly swag and signage
• We would also like to use this logo in the background of each module with an icon to differentiate - for example the maintenance module might be a greyed out logo in the background with a wrench in the front.
