Logo Design Brief

I already have the finished logo for my children’s line Tiny Blossoms (soft, script-based, whimsical). Now I need a complementary but distinct logo for Le Petit Atelier, which is the parent atelier brand.

Style:
Elegant, French-inspired, minimal, high-end, artisanal.

Typeface:
Use an elegant serif (no script).
French boutique style.
Thin to medium weight.
Clean, refined, easy to read.

Suggested fonts:
Cormorant Garamond, Playfair Display (thin), Editorial New, Quiche Serif (light), Bodoni-inspired light serif, La Luxe Serif.

Icons (optional):
Please do not use flowers or leaves (Tiny Blossoms already uses them).
You may explore:
• needle and thread (thin line)
• small ribbon/bow (very minimal)
• laurel sprig (ultra minimal)
• fine-line sewing scissors
• thread loop forming a subtle underline
• simple atelier mark or monogram (LPA)

Colors:
Soft neutrals: dove gray, taupe, soft charcoal, French ink blue-gray, warm cream.
Avoid bold colors.

Hierarchy:
The logo should look refined, timeless, and boutique.
It must pair beautifully next to the Tiny Blossoms logo but look more mature and elegant.

Deliverables:
• Icon + text version
• Text-only version
• Monogram version (LPA)
• Horizontal layout
• Vertical/stacked layout
• A version readable at small woven-label size

Do not include:
• flowers
• leaves
• playful elements
• bold fonts
• heavy illustrations
• anything resembling the “Blossoms” flourish or rose
