Web Design Brief

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a long-term freelance designer to refresh and modernize my existing WordPress website (www.mursky.com).
The new layout should be a clean one-page design with one one-pager subpage (CD's subpage).

From time to time, I also need help with smaller design projects such as concert flyers, CD covers (including booklets), and other promotional materials — that’s why I’m looking for a long-term collaboration.

The website is fully functional; I just need a fresh visual update that matches the style of my new CD and future materials.

Experience with WordPress is essential.
I'm looking for someone reliable, creative, and easy to communicate with — not a large agency.

• Clean and elegant one-page layout with 1–2 subpages (Bio, Concerts, Contact); high-quality visual design reflecting a professional concert pianist’s identity; visual harmony with my new CD “Quasi una Fantasia” (colors, mood, tone); integration of photos, videos, CD covers, and short audio samples via a mini audio player; all existing content to be transferred from www.mursky.com ; bilingual structure (German/English); responsive design (desktop + mobile); built on WordPress

Nice to have

• Subtle animations or transitions between sections (smooth scrolling or fade-ins), elegant typography inspired by classical music aesthetics (fonts below), optional dark / light mode design, small music/video player or integrated streaming links (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube)

Should not have

• Overloaded or cluttered layout, flashy or bright color schemes, stock photos unrelated to piano or classical music, heavy animations or slow loading times, generic, template-looking WordPress themes
