Logo Design Brief

A logo redesign is needed for a luxury 16-guest expedition yacht operating in the Galapagos Islands. This is a family friendly boat that features triple and interconnected cabins. Former interior and brand design was too casual and traditional and we are now selling it more as an upscale travel option. Logo design now must be: Modern, Organic, Dynamic.

Brand Concept:

1. Analogy
The Galapagos Sea Star is like a star in the night sea: it guides navigators toward new routes (discovery), illuminates with a warm and intimate glow (warmth), shines brighter than the others due to its perfection (excellence), and inspires dreams and desires in those who contemplate it (inspiration).

2. Storytelling
Centuries ago, navigators oriented themselves by following the stars. Each point of light in the sky represented a path, a promise, and a destination to be reached. Today, in the Galapagos Islands, the Sea Star resumes that ancient role: it is the star that guides 16 privileged travelers to discover a unique world. On board, luxury becomes a close and human experience, the warmth of service blends with the grandeur of nature, and every moment becomes inspiration for new stories. Because like the stars, the Sea Star not only illuminates the path, but also the dreams of those who follow it.

3. Metaphor
The Sea Star is not a ship, it's a floating constellation: a point of light that unites nature, luxury, and humanity to trace a map of unique experiences in the heart of the Galapagos.
