Graphic Design Brief
We're launching a new Mexican craft beer called "La Mundialista," inspired by the two World Cups held in Mexico: Mexico City in 1970 and Mexico City in 1986.
We sought to design a front label that combines nostalgia, Mexican culture, and retro-futuristic design, capturing the excitement of soccer, national pride, and the iconic graphic styles of those decades.
The label must be visually powerful, collectible, and storytelling, so it stands out on the shelf and becomes a conversation piece and keepsake.
Target Market(s)
Craft beer lovers. Soccer fans (of all ages, especially those between 25 and 55). Mexicans nostalgic for the 1970 and 1986 World Cups in Mexico. An audience that values products with design and cultural identity. Collectors and consumers who appreciate unique visual branding.

Must have
- The product name: La Mundialista (visible and prominent). Clearly inspired by the Mexico 1970 and Mexico 1986 World Cups. A graphic style that combines retro aesthetics with modern touches. A striking color palette that evokes the emotional vibration of those tournaments. Vertical format for a 355 ml bottle label (approx. 7 x 12 cm). A design that works as a souvenir or collectible. Final editable delivery (.AI or .PSD) + bottle mockup.
Nice to have
- Graphic elements such as classic footballs, psychedelic patterns, vintage textures, 70s geometric typography, and 80s pop art. Subtle references to contemporary Mexican identity (urban art, textile patterns, local color). Optional alternate logo proposal for bottle caps or 6-pack beer packaging.
Should not have
- Generic aesthetics with no clear concept. Excessive folkloric or cartoonish elements. Hipster-like visual styles unrelated to the historical theme. Imitations of official FIFA logos or use of registered trademarks.
