Logo Design Brief

I created a "logo" myself last year for my dog product company, Bark and Beau. Now that we're building our website, I want to ensure the logo has the modern, clean, chic feel, while also being clearly visible. I want it to be a neutral vibe that's elegant, yet approachable. I added my old logo image for inspiration. While I love it, I don't think it's legible.
