Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a land surveying business in Northwest Montana. The business focuses on legal property boundary surveying. I envision "HLS" in large font in the background with "Haskill Land Surveying" across it in the foreground. I like the border in the attached image. I don't have a specific color palette in mind. Many land surveying logos incorporate some kind of North arrow in them. I don't necessarily need that, but am not opposed to it either. Let 'er rip!
