Packaging Design Brief

Overview:
JX Tactical is seeking a professional packaging designer to transform our existing rough layout into a clean, high-impact, retail-ready packaging design. This universal bag design will represent our entire product line and must be optimized for direct print on 7.75" x 10" resealable poly bags.
We’ve already created rough front and back designs that communicate the tone, layout, and content ideas. Now we want a designer to rework and elevate them into a modern, cohesive, and professional retail presentation.
Note: Designers are encouraged to adjust, add, or remove design elements from the current layout as needed — as long as the final result improves clarity, visual appeal, and effectiveness for retail presentation.

Design Goals:
Generalized Design: Must represent all JX Tactical products (holsters, mag pouches, attachments, etc.) in a cohesive layout.


Retail-Ready Polish: Should be visually striking and professional, built to stand out on retail shelves while maintaining a strong tactical aesthetic.


Direct Print Compatibility: Must be suitable for direct-to-bag printing. Avoid gradients, shadows, or fine details that won’t translate well to poly bag surfaces.


Consistent Branding: Incorporate the look, tone, and values seen on https://jxtactical.com — bold, rugged, reliable.


Flexible Layout: While we’ve included rough mockups of the front and back panels, designers have creative freedom to adjust or refine text, icons, image placement, and colors for optimal impact and clarity. Elements may be added or removed if doing so improves the overall result.
