Tattoo Design Brief

I need helping designing a full sleeve tattoo to go on my left arm. This would start from my shoulder and go down to my wrist and cover the full arm. I want the design to be a tapestry of things most important/personal to me, which will center around water/ocean. I served in the Navy, so want to incorporate some aspect of a nautical compass/anchor/mooring lines, etc. Traditional navy style. I also want to include things from my travels with my family. We have been to Kauai in Hawaii (think na pali coast), cayman islands (incredible sea-life like stingrays, sea turtles, etc), and most recently the Algarve coast where the coastlines are incredible. I want to incorporate local flora from those regions as well. I have pictures to support this request if helpful. The tattoo should be mostly black and white, but can incorporate some muted color. Nothing cartoony.

Ideally, I want it to tell a story. From my time in the Navy in the late 90's / early 2000's to starting my family....spending our summers at the beach, surfing, fishing, spending time near the water. Our first trip together was Hawaii...then to the Cayman islands...then to London/Paris/Normandy...then to Portugal. My wife and I (before Hawaii) also traveled to Sydney which was important.
