Project Title:
Logo Refresh for Guard Services USA & Facilities USA (Sister Brands)
About the Companies:
Guard Services USA and Facilities USA are sister companies serving over 100,000 shifts per year across 250,000+ locations in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. Guard Services USA provides armed and unarmed guards, off-duty police, and patrol staffing. Facilities USA provides HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, waste, pest control, and general maintenance services.
We work with national retailers, banks, restaurants, hotels, and construction sites — making us a critical partner for multi-location businesses that need fast, reliable service.
Why We're Updating the Logos:
Both companies currently share a similar logo featuring a shield, but the style is dated. We want to modernize the logos and create a unified brand system that works together, signals trust and scale, and looks professional in digital and print formats.
What We Want:
Updated logo for each brand: Guard Services USA and Facilities USA
A modern, shared brand DNA (same font, color system, and emblem)
Optional: Shared shield icon or mark
Horizontal and stacked versions
Clean, readable fonts
Scalable for websites, uniforms, and mobile
What the Logos Should Convey:
Trust
Nationwide capability
Operational efficiency
Reliability
Clean, professional B2B service
Moodboard Style and Design Directions:
Keywords: Reliable, Nationwide, Streamlined, Trusted, Operational Precision
Inspiration Brands:
ADT Security (clean shield)
Allied Universal (national security brand)
CBRE (bold B2B type)
Honeywell Building Technologies
ServiceTitan or Samsara (modern service tech)
Shield/Icon Guidelines:
You can redesign or simplify the shield
Internal band or design should be clean and purposeful
Avoid police/military vibes
Avoid literal icons (badges, brooms, hats)
Fonts:
Clean sans-serif only
No scripts, serifs, or highly stylized fonts
Must be easy to read when small
Colors:
Blues (deep navy or sky), charcoals, and light gray as base
Optional accents: gold, steel, or safety orange
Should feel trustworthy, not sterile
Deliverables:
Two final logos (Guard Services USA + Facilities USA)
Horizontal and stacked versions
Vector files (AI/SVG) + PNGs
Font names and color codes (hex and/or CMYK)
Optional: simple usage guide or 1-pager on logo use
What to Avoid:
Overly detailed or complex marks
Cliché or clip-art security icons
Police/military look
Fonts that won’t scale on mobile or uniforms
Target Audience:
Our customers are executives in operations, facilities, and procurement. We must earn trust in an instant and show we are a safe pair of hands with national scale.
