Web Design Brief
We’re hiring a designer to create a modern, intuitive, and scalable frontend design for STLDatabase.com — a search engine and aggregator for free 3D printable files (STL files).
The site will not host files, but will crawl and display listings from other 3D file platforms like Thingiverse, Printables, and MyMiniFactory. We need a design that looks clean, tech-forward, and makes it easy for users to browse, search, and explore curated 3D print models.
Project Goals
• Help users search, filter, and browse STL files from various sources
• Present file listings in a clean and organized card-style layout
• Include strong category navigation, tag filtering, and search UX
• Allow for expansion — community features, user accounts, ads, etc.
• Be ready for handoff to developers
