Logo Design Brief

I am part of the executive board for the NJAOH and about to take over as the new President in 2 weeks. I am looking to have a new Logo created for the NJAOH. I have scanned a copy of our business card that has our National logo on the left and one that was made for apparel a few years ago, but we don't have a real good business logo that we can call our own for New Jersey. I also attached a digital copy of our National Logo. Really hoping you can help us out. I intend to have it created in a round format that can be applied to letter head, seals, paper embossers, large print jobs and such. Needs to be scalable and would like it to have the elements of the National Logo incorporated somehow.
