Logo Design Brief

A logo for my new business ‘Toast’ which is a cafe and cocktail bar in Winchester UK. Serving toasties and specially crafted cocktails. Interior is art-deco inspired, classy and colourful. Toast has one goal which is ‘everyone leaves happy’. Team will be focused on delivering honest, friendly and fun hospitality to every guest, alongside delicious toasties (toasted sandwiches) and cocktails. The name Toast comes from the toasted sandwiches and ‘toasting’ with a drink. I would like a minimalist, flat logo design. Please don’t submit designs depicting toast, toasties, grilled sandwiches or bread as I'd like the logo to be less on the nose than directly referencing Toast. No text only logos please, there needs to be a pictorial element

Affluent locals, young professionals. Those with higher than average disposable income. Anyone looking to relax in a high quality environment and receive excellent hospitality

• Designs that show that toast is both a dining spot and a cocktail bar. Art deco style font. Designs that convey toast as a warm, welcoming and friendly venue.

Should not have

• No text only logos. No literal depictions of toast (as in toasted bread), toasted sandwiches, grilled cheese or sliced bread.
