If my memory serves me correctly, the winning entry was originally submitted under the username NeWave Productions, suggesting that the contest holder submitted to his own contest. I''m not sure if this violates any rules but it certainly is poor style.

It was a logo that was designed and emailed to me that we chose. The sender couldn''t post it so I did it for him.  Sorry you feel that way, but after a week of no logos being close to what we wanted, we broadened the contest and I posted the winning logo. I assure you it was legit.
