Label Design Brief

We made a red wine blend this year and need a unique label for it with an image of our dog on it. His name is Rusty and everyone who sees him on our website wants to meet him. We adopted Rusty from a local animal shelter and plan to donate $1.00 of every bottle sold to the shelter. I have uploaded 2 sample images from ChatGPT that I like as an inspiration for this new label. I have also included several pictures of Rusty.

Important: there are several things that the Tax and Trade Bureau requires on a wine label. It must include the type of wine (red wine), it must list the alcohol by volume (ABV 13.5%), it must list the content volume (750ml), it must list the vintage (2022), and it must list the AVA (Snake River Valley). I have included an image of our current Vicino label as an example. I would also like Rusty’s Red label to state the wine is made by Famici Wine Co. (see attached Vicino Label example). Finally, the label must be produced as a vector file so that I can update the information as we make new vintages of this wine.

Our other two wine labels are nice, one is more elegant than the other. They both state the meaning of the title or our brand. In Italian, Vicino means neighboring or nearby and the grapes we use for our Vicino wines are from neighboring vineyards. The word Famici is a made-up word combining (Famiglia + Amici) and means Family and Friends. Both of our current labels include an iconic butte in the background. We want all our wine labels to be unique and meaningful, and Rusty's blend labels to be light and fun.

I hope Rusty's Red Wine Label is a fun project for you to create! Please make the focus of this new label on Rusty’s unique character as our winery dog. As you know the label is a very important expression of our brand, including marketing and sales. I want Rusty's Red to be eye catching, show Rusty's uniqueness, and make everyone who sees it want to purchase a bottle!

• It would be nice to include grape vines (maybe a vineyard), a barrel. blue sky. We live in a valley framed by the Owyhee mountains so background mountains might fit in. Rusty really needs to stand out as a happy vineyard dog. I like the colors of the ChatGPT image I uploaded as an inspiration
