As a professional designer - I struggle to understand how 15 people went on with a project, with nothing to actually work with.
Some sort of divine intervention.

I however, need some clarity, please.
You use the words "they" and "their" which suggests the project requirement is for a third party company and not for yourself / your own company.
I must assume that you are presenting this work to your own client.

The "Diver Down" flag has no significance to anyone who is not a diver and is not a good (meaningful) device for any logo. Ever.

The piece of octopus tentacle across a letter has no meaning whatsoever. Not even in the food industry.

The AI rendering is at once comical and horrific. If this was not dealing with this type of tragedy. Like a badly scripted something.
(I love watching AI fails. They are a warning to civilization)

That all said.
Without judging the (misguided) use of the word "angel" in the name of such a distressing job, and not wanting to introduce any religious/spiritual overtones into the design -
there must be MORE to the logo requirement job description than this.
(It is not impossible to imagine that some "designers" added wings to the letter A)

Font style?
Color preference?

Without putting a diver or water ripples etc. in the picture - what is actually required?
