Context and Background...After 25 years of being a professional speaker - I am rebranding or enhancing my brand by positioning myself as the worlds leading authority and expert on "Initiative" WHAT initiative is, what stops people from taking it, and how we can inspire more of it in ourselves, and others -- meaning individuals, teams, companies and countries. Part of the supporting evidence of my authority claim is I have the number one selling book in the world on initiative, and another will be that I am the founder of THE INITIATIVE INSTITUTE. Which I need a logo for... this logo will be featured on websites, keynote introductions, media campaigns PODCAST etc. I want the Initiative Institute to sound as credible and concrete as the IMF (International Monitary Fund) But also to communicate some FUN and ACTION... because inspiring people to take action is our mission.
Some of the mission statement drafts follow.... they should communicate the spirit of what we are about. Also it might be important to know that the name of my Best Selling Book (Also often introduced as BEST SMELLING BOOK is "The Dog Poop Initiative --- so fun, creativity and light heartedness is a part of our identity. We are not about guilting, shaming, or fearmongering people into action... we are about encouraging, inspiring, and helping people to identify and overcome the mostly psychological barriers that stop them from taking the needful actions in their lives. Who are We…. We are community concerned with the levels of apathy, distraction, discouragement and contempt in our world. We are determined to inspire initiative and help people take the first steps forward r(past their fears, and self limiting beliefs towards ealizing more of their leadership potential and dreams. Individually, families,, workplace teams and institutions.
How : With simple, clear, actional content that frees the minds from the language and beliefs around fear, eliminates blame, and replaces judgement with curiosity, compassion and understanding. Thus freeing people to ACT in their own best interest by doing what they already know needs to be done. Without complaining or blaming or pointing.
To enable, encourage, enthuse and inspire people to take the next step in improving their lives, their workplace and our world.
