Logo Design Brief

Our family is beginning to breed english labradors. We have two black english labs (a male and female), and next year will start as a hobby breeder from our home. We have been able to purchase breeding rights from one of the best kennels in the US. And our aim is to provide the best english lab that can be bred/bought, but at a price point more affordable to families. The English lab is noteworthy in look and temperament. It is a stockier build with blocky head and barrel chest and a shorter thick tail. Their demeanor is also calmer, laid back, but also stoic.

We chose the name Family Oaks Labradors because our aim is to provide "Family labs bred by our family’s labs". But also because we are located in Southern Illinois which is oak timber country, and our property has forest of these oaks (Family of oaks). Oak not only represents where we are from, but what we desire to provide: a pet that is a pillar of each family.

We are looking for a logo. I have been partial to other breeders who use the simplicity of just an image of a black english lab in their logo, but also am open to seeing other creative designs! We will use the logo to market to new families as they are looking for the right place to buy their future pup.
