Logo Design Brief

Our house is an old Victorian style house. For many years (and apparently many previous owners) every few years we would get a swarm of honeybees in our walls for the spring season. As a result, we want to create a logo for our house to put on cups, napkins, etc. surrounding the honey bee theme and house nickname of The Honeycomb House

I have come up with a rough idea attached, but am open to new ideas and suggestions.
