Logo Design Brief
A logo is needed for a Facebook group with the aim of offering stand up paddle tours on rivers and lakes in North Rhine-Westphalia. We are currently one of the most active stand up paddle groups with over 2000 members.
The logo should convey the fun of this sport and include, for example, a paddle similar to the (Starboard Lima paddle), sun, river or even a board (touring board similar to the Starboard brand).
We like the example image very much but it contains one error: the paddler is holding the paddle incorrectly. The way he is holding it, it should dip into the water on the other side of the board. We also decided against a color gradient in the logo due to the print quality. The middle yellow word could perhaps be given a thin border to make it easier to read.
It should not be overloaded and is primarily intended for printing on stickers, T-shirts and possibly business card-sized address labels.
The lettering SUP-Touren NRW should be easy to recognize and should be reflected in the design, as shown here, in upper and lower case letters in the logo.
