Infographic Design Brief
We need a modern infographic to help illustrate international recycling rates for expanded polystyrene plastic. Include the information below and use the attached PowerPoint as an example for your design – the PowerPoint is just to illustrate the information; you do not need to follow it completely.
We have also included our updated color guide.
Please fit the following information into the infographic:
• The one item that is necessary is the global map – the "Global EPS Packaging Recycling" header is not required
• Do NOT include any "chasing arrows" recycling symbols
• the "34 Countries" should read "34 Countries with a Confirmed Recycling Rate"
• "34 Countries" should be an information block along with the "21 Countries"
• The "32 Countries" and "62 Countries" should be included in the graph image – we have given a pie graph as an example, though it can be another graph
• "Leading EPS Recyclate Sources" should have the following four blocks associated with it: Automotive, Seafood & Fishers, Furniture, and Appliances; use attached photos for blocks
• The lorem ipsum vertical information blocks should include 3 columns:
#1: "Developing Countries Recycle EPS" – include country outline of Guatemala; include the text "EPS manufacturing is working with government in Guatemala. Where an EPS molder exists is the easiest way to initiate EPS recycling. Work with the EPS manufacturing sector can promote quick startup of B2B recycling programs."
#2: "Small Islands Recycle EPS" – include country outline of Dominican Republic; include the text "An EPS recycling program in the Dominican Republic highlighted the need for new polystyrene recycling technologies. Through their work with machinery specialists, they were able to identify a solution that then spread to other nations."
#3: "Local Communities Recycle EPS" – include country outline of China; include text "EPS startups can lead to successful recycling collection programs. Qiaoying Neighborhood Office in Xiamen City, China, was already receiving polystyrene for recycling when they were able to procure a densifier. Since installation, the program has spread to five machines located across the city."
• Under the "Global Plastic Pollution Treaty" statement, include the following: "Criteria could be tailored to specific applications, allowing for country-specific flexibility. This approach would also help to develop standards on a material basis and allow countries to focus on scientific research and assess availability of recycling programs."
