Logo Design Brief
The Barefoot Kid is a project inspired by Pikler pedagogy and focused on the natural, respectful development of children and the secure attachment with parents, particularly during their first 0-36 months. The name reflects the freedom and connection with the natural that barefoot exploration symbolizes in child development.
The project it's an initiative that brings the principles of Pikler pedagogy into the heart of family life, focusing on fostering a deeper connection between caregivers and their babies. This initiative fosters community, celebrating slow, respectful parenting while promoting children’s autonomy, independence, and emotional well-being. Pikler's pedagogy is rooted in the idea that babies thrive best when allowed to move freely, explore their environment at their own pace, and develop their independence naturally. In a world that often rushes childhood, I am offering families the gift of slowing down and truly savoring the journey of growth and discovery. The project is an observation playgroup, where parents can see the capabilities of their kids without them interfering in the process.
The project offers a holistic approach to early childhood, blending pedagogy, community-building, and emotional support uniquely.
Private Consultancy to families or caregivers is also part of the project.
I would like to see a design in neutral colors or earth tones. The final design should inspire movement, freedom, autonomy, connection, and respect. Pictures of reference regarding postures and some props that can be used. If you are going to use a child is important that it is focused on a task, and not looking at the viewer.
