Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a name logo for my Champion show Dalmatian, Walt. This will be use to brand all of his advertising.
He call name is “Walt” named after Walt Disney (but don’t want anything too childish. Looking for elegant and strong- with a hint of fun
His registered name is “Ch Dakota Wish Upon A Star”
I have included two photos of ads- the first one is Walt. But I don’t like how they did his name (that is what I am trying to create). The second is an ad for a dog named Gram… his name logo is used in everyone of his ads- his branding. update - just added a couple of other examples from other dogs
