Tattoo Design Brief
My former CEO, mentor and good friend has stage 4 cancer. A few of us are going with him to Bangkok (to his favourite bar) in November to celebrate his 61st birthday with him, as it will be his last. Whilst there, I wanted to get a tattoo that is a lasting reminder of the impact that he has had on my life. Whilst working with him for many years, one of his favourite sayings was "the future is in the head lights, not the tail lights".
I was thinking something along the lines of a greyscale tattoo, showing the bonnet of a car, with the headlights projecting the future. The future could be the words "The Future" or it could literally be - the future.
Being a fun guy, one of his other expressions was "one off the wood", which means to have a cold beer at the bar. That could also be another option for a tattoo.
