Logo Design Brief

We have a current logo (attached). We'd like to keep the colors similar and font the same, but wanting it to "pop" a little more (maybe a subtle black outline, richen up the colors, or some other creative idea). This logo goes on company apparel (hats, hoodies, t-shirts, etc). It also goes on our company pickup doors, and semi truck doors, and some of our larger equipment. The vehicles are all white. Equipment is CAT Yellow for the most part, some have black booms for buckets, etc. It would be cool to have options with the original greenish colors, and then maybe black/white/grey options.

We also would like an abbreviated logo using our company initials VG, and the company name incorporated too, and then some kind of outline encompassing the VG, or creative use of blending the letters. I'll upload an example of an idea. This logo will be for our heavy equipment, die cut stickers, and maybe the chest area of some company apparel or hats.
