Logo Design Brief

Peake's Pies will be a branch off of our main company of Peake's Kitchen, where we are creating a range of Gourmet Meat Pies, therefore the imagery should reflect a meat pie not a fruit pie. We will be targeting the nostalgia of the older generation as well as families and people who want a delicious part of their meal that can be conveniently heated and eaten. We currently use pink, blue, white in our current logos, we are open to using gold if needed for the pie as that is a classic pie colour, but want to incorporate our traditional colour scheme as well.

The logo should flow with our current theme of the Kitchen logo and the Treats logo. We want to be able to use this logo to then create stamps, t shirts, stickers and more.

We use "Back to Black Demo" for the "Peake's" text and a font like Gilroy Bold for "Kitchen". The PINK (RGB) colour is #ff61b2 , The BLUE (RGB) colour is #24c3eb

We have updated the product name to be "Peake's Pies" and subtext "Papatowai, Catlins, NZ”

Background: Growing up in the heart of New Zealand, the smell of freshly baked meat pies would fill the air every weekend at Granddad’s house. These weren’t just any pies—they were a labor of love, made from scratch with the finest ingredients, bursting with flavor, and always the star of the plate. My Grandfather believed that a good pie could bring people together, create memories, and be a meal to remember.
Over the years, I’ve continued this tradition, experimenting with flavors, perfecting recipes, and crafting what I believe are some of the best gourmet pies you’ll ever taste. Now, in the small settlement of Papatowai, we’re bringing these pies to the public. Whether you’re a fan of the classic mince and cheese or want to try something a little more adventurous, we’ve got a pie for you.
