Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new product that is geared towards delivering internal and external ‘holistic nutrition’ for hair and scalp health. Yellow bird is taken from the metaphor ‘The canary in the coal mine’ story - where in the early 1900’s the coal miners used canaries to see if the carbon monoxide levels were too high. We use it today as our metaphor for if our symptoms (body/hair) are ‘the canary’ in the coal mine. ‘Holistic nutrition’ covers not only food as medicine but our environmental influences as well - when in balance ‘all is in harmony’. We also follow the ‘As above, So Below’ quote to again symbolizes the internal and external balances. This is a brand new product line - starting right at the beginning (roots). The final design should communicate a striking and simple ‘pop’. We would like to see the canary in the design in yellow perhaps sitting on a hair (in its follicle) and we like the idea of a lotus sitting in the bulb of the follicle permeating growth with warm oranges at its heart (symbolising blood flowing in) into green (symbolising growth and nurture). The lotus and canary are really (at this stage) the only colours on the logo but happy to look at all inspo:)
