Feedback please. Thanks

Hello all,

I am unable to give individual feedback because of the volume of submissions but I will give some general responses to what I have seen.

Colors: There have been several different color schemes. I like the designs with more earthen tones (brown, black, red, orange, darker yellows, forest greens (maybe-Not sure if I'd like that)). I do not care for the teals, blues, grays, and light yellows I've seen.

Design: Many have used an excavator or part of one in the design. I am not sure if I like this. Mainly because I will be using bull dozers, dump trucks and other heavy equipment in my business. So right now I've only seen one that caught my eye that I might consider. But with the variety of talent working on this someone may incorporate an excavator or part of one that I like. A bull dozer blade as part of the design comes to mind as well. Some of the logos have been very intricate. I am looking for a logo that retains its look at different sizes. Some of the logos are so intricate that if it is scaled to a small size it would become unrecognizable.

CAT: In my brief I mentioned that I liked the CAT logo. This was just to give you an idea of the style that I like. I am not looking for a logo that could be considered a copycat of the CAT logo. Because I may build equipment myself, a logo that closely resembles their logo could open me up to trademark infringement.

Thank you all for the submissions. Almost all of these are great designs and better than I had anticipated.

Sean
