Logo Design Brief

Hi! We're looking to get a logo designed for Artificial Analysis: https://artificialanalysis.ai/.

We're building the industry standard for benchmarking and evaluating AI technologies. Our website presents results from our deep analysis of AI models (eg. GPT-4, Claude 3 Opus, Llama 3) and AI technology providers (eg. OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, AssemblyAI, Replicate). We work with technology companies across the AI value chain from chips and infrastructure to consumer applications as an independent provider of benchmarking and analysis.

Our brand identity needs to be modern and approachable, consistent with a focus on AI and technology, and professional enough to be taken seriously by our enterprise customers. Our logo needs to be able to be used flexibly across our website, partner websites, formal benchmarking report documents and slide decks.

A few specific notes:

- We’re open to a range of design concepts for the logo
- We prefer a full logo made up of a symbol and our name, where the symbol is unique/recognisable enough to be used on its own (eg. on company documents, as a favicon)
- We generally like the idea of a minimalist/modern/sophisticated logo. We prefer a symbol unique enough that it can grow to be widely associated with our brand.
- Concepts related to charts and data could be relevant
- Our current colour palette is anchored on black and a purple highlight colour (#6466E9) but we are open to adjusting/diversifying this as part of the design process. In any situation, the logo will need to work well on both white and black backgrounds (different versions for each are acceptable).
- I’ve attached an image showing a handful of logos in the AI industry that we generally like the style of (please note that we also need to ensure our logo is not mistaken for those logos)
