Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a Christian church in Silicon Valley, California. The name is Christ Community Church of San Jose. We may be interested in a logo that can incorporate our acronym "CCC" (or perhaps just "CC"), but we're open to other ideas as well. Consider it a mid-size church (50-100 people on Sunday); it's not a mega church, nor is it tiny. We're looking for designs with a more modern style. Our church is very active in the work of helping the world, so a design that communicates our "missional" nature or the sense of "going" (as opposed to being more inward focused) may be beneficial. Although not necessary, you can consider incorporating the date our church was established: 1952.
