Logo Design Brief

We are a Nascar Canada team looking for a vector logo that will be used on hats, shirts, etc.

Our driver is 67 years old and our car number is 67 so we are looking for a logo that represents "67 in 67" to celebrate this special milestone.

I have included a very rough idea I came up with but we are open to any other ideas. A vintage style racing logo would be great. Something aged/weathered looking.
