Logo Design Brief

This is Data networking company specializing in low voltage wiring, such as Ethernet cabling and fiber optic cabling.
Wierdly enough i want the main focal point of this logo to be a lion either jumping or just the face with what will look like cables going through the lion or around it. the cables i am referring to shall look similar to:

The style of the logo shall be modern, bold and elegant. Touches of gold foil are appreciated but i am open to any design style so long as it isn't too relaxed or boring.
