Logo Design Brief

Design a logo, for a artisan luthier (guitar builder).

Background- I hand build acoustic guitars. The name Inyo comes from a mountain range in desert of eastern California. The logo will be used on a label inside the guitar, a website, business card and on marketing tools.

I have downloaded a rough sketch that I put together below.
