Logo Design Brief

We are organizing a design contest centered around the alteration of the "Spirit of Detroit" statue. The envisioned modification involves incorporating boxing gloves, either suspended around the neck or placed on the hands while retaining the original icons held by the statue. (I have added photos of some boxing gloves just for context, these do not need to be the ones used though.) We would like to see both options, but if you think one of the other looks better, do what you think! The desired color scheme for the logo is gold on a black background, with the only exception being shading.

The design should emanate a "Street Wear look" or exude a "City Vibe," and while we do not have a specific font preference at the moment, we expect the overall aesthetic to convey these themes. It's crucial that the color used is gold, distinct from yellow.

Maintaining the recognition of the "Spirit of Detroit Statue" is important, so all icons held by the statue must be preserved in the logo. We would like you to use your creativity and not stick with only adding the gloves and text, but possibly something unique that makes this logo stand out. Ultimately, the goal is for the logo to resonate with the spirit of the city while incorporating the unique elements specified.
